Robert Smith recently posted an absolutely phenomenal video on the topic of gaining and losing light. I cannot overstate how valuable what he shares is. It is just 37 minutes. If you turn away this gift you will be losing a priceless gift for which a very high price was paid that you might receive it.

When God offers us grace in the form of additional light, we have a choice. If we accept that grace and make it a part of who and what we are then we can advance again to receiving more light that could not have been received without first receiving the prior gift. If we refuse that light then we fall from that grace and it will be far more difficult to receive it later on.
