This last few days I’ve taken the time to reformat my Book of Mormon publications. They have new covers, the margins are corrected (using mirror margins for inside/outside margins to maximize page space), the page numbers now start on the first page of the actual text instead of the title page, etc. These things hadn’t been done before because I didn’t know how.
One of my primary objectives has been to get the cost as low as possible, which means black and white, with as few pages as possible. I believe I have done all that can be done to reach this objective. I can’t find any other Book of Mormon publications sold as cheaply as mine.
Just to be clear, about half the cost is printing, the other half is shipping, and then Amazon requires a profit margin as well. I make virtually nothing.
Today the 8.5×11 is $5.85, the 6×9 Compact is $6.95, and the 1840 edition is $6.40.
The content of Greatest Sermons from the Book of Mormon has been adjusted and edited. I’m very pleased with this very thin power-punch of a book! It is currently $3.85. This is a distillation of the great doctrinal chapters from the Book of Mormon. I designed this for my own personal use while traveling. It takes almost zero space in my flight bag. The idea is to read about 10 pages each day as a way of maximizing intellectual and spiritual edification. This could also be used as a missionary tract.
I have unpublished the Kindle editions. I don’t have the technical expertise to make these look good and they do not pass Amazon’s occasional quality checks.
This is a labor of love for me. I am very passionate about it. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, please contact me. My email address is listed on the ABOUT page.
