An email response to a friend of mine on the topic of dreams:

I appreciate your open thoughts on this. I feel similarly.

I’ve also written down many of my dreams. I have much I could say on the topic. I’ll probably do a video on it at some point. It’s a very difficult topic to address. And I have lots of cautions to offer on the subject. 

It’s easy to be led astray by dreams, and worse still, it’s easy to lead others astray by sharing them! 

Dreams and visions in the night touch on multiple realities and reflections on realities–that which was, is, will be, or may be. 

There are so many intelligences, personalities, and powers that can affect our dreams. It’s perilous. 

In dreams, our minds sometimes reach outside of space and time, or our minds touch the minds of those who are without such limitations. 

Powers for good use dreams to communicate things that raise our awareness, or should cause us to ask questions, or to doubt some things we should doubt more, and to urge us to have faith where we yet lack.  

And powers for evil often communicate through dreams that they are coming and are about to make an assault. I’ve experienced this only too often. 

Dreams can be windows through time, or even outside of time. They can be windows into the heart. They can be windows into realities we are ignorant of or averse to honestly considering.

Most often, they are not really meant to be understood in any specific way, per say, but to be considered in many ways. 

When our minds are touched by those who sit in eternal burning, we are almost guaranteed to be shown things in ways that are far beyond our current capacity to comprehend, but we can still pick up the bread crumbs, which is about all our limitations allow us to carry away. As it turns out, it’s very hard to carry the gold through the tiny portal back into our own world.
