So, I was just watching a YouTube video by Rob Smith. I took notes; revamped them a few times, until this is what I came up with. This is what I needed to hear. Maybe, you need to hear this too.
Dance to the music in your heart.
Live according to the light you have.
Be true to the truth God has given you, no matter what.
Most people are only going to be able to hear the music God gives by seeing you dance to it.
You must be willing to dance alone.
It is very likely that those you are nearest to will not be willing or able to dance the way they should until they’ve seen you demonstrate it.
“…when there is no one else in sight in a crowded, lonely night…” …still, you must dance.
You may be around many people, but still there will likely be nobody with whom you can see eye to eye.
When nobody else wants to dance, the only one left to dance with is yourself. So, dance with yourself! There will always be others watching.
The only way past the loneliness is to first, fully accept the loneliness. Embrace it. Be at peace with it. The joy comes later. It begins as a tiny fire in your heart, a tiny light in the night, then it gets bigger and bigger, greater and greater in intensity, until it becomes a pillar of fire you are finally able to walk into.
