A few weeks ago I felt inspired to put together emergency kits to keep in our vehicles. Here is what I put together. And here is the inventory list I have taped under the lid of the car kit containers.
I think that more cold weather clothing would be a good idea. It’s just that clothing is bulky. I’ve instructed my family to always assume they are going to be walking home at 1 AM and to bring appropriate clothing. You never know in what form or when crazy emergencies might happen.
More items probably could or should be added. I am open to suggestions.

The heavy items are the tools, jump starter, and air compressor. If you had to walk, these items could be left and everything else needed could be placed in the backpack.
A long discussion could and should be had on all this, but here is a good start anyhow. Maybe I’ll do a YouTube video on this.
