About two years ago, I launched GreaterLightandTruth.com with a particular purpose: to write and publish a book exploring the principles, laws, doctrines, and teachings that I believe are important to understand as we seek to become true disciples of Jesus Christ and prepare for the establishment of Zion.

I began publishing that book one chapter at a time. After several months, however, the project gradually fizzled out, and the website evolved into something different—a place for standalone essays, messages, and reflections on faith, discipleship, political and social issues, and the world around us.

Recently, I went back and reread some of those original chapters. I realized that I don’t want to leave that project unfinished. In fact, I feel much more prepared to write it now than I did two years ago.

So I am beginning again.

Over the coming weeks and months, I will be revising and republishing the chapters I previously completed, while continuing the book beyond where I originally stopped. Each chapter will be published here and linked from a central Table of Contents page so that anyone interested can follow the project from beginning to end.

I am genuinely excited to return to this work. My thinking has matured considerably since I first began it, and I expect many of these chapters to be substantially rewritten, expanded, clarified, and occasionally reconsidered altogether.

I also hope this will be more than a one-way project. I invite you to read along, ask questions, challenge ideas, leave comments, and offer feedback. Some of the most valuable refinement of our understanding comes when sincere people are willing to wrestle together with difficult questions in pursuit of greater light and truth.
